WARNING
Health hazard!
The water fi lter in the water tank can
only fi lter out fl oating particles from
the water. It does not destroy bacteria
or microbes.
■
When using the ice maker for the fi rst
time, do not consume the ice cubes
produced during the fi rst 6 hours.
■
If the water dispenser (ice or cold wa-
ter) has not been in used 5 days or
longer, replace the entire water sup-
ply. Dispose of the water used to rinse
the system.
Risk of injury!
Improper operation may result in injury.
■
Do not insert fi ngers into the ice/cold
water outlet.
■
Do not insert objects such as knives,
forks or similar into the ice or cold wa-
ter outlet.
■
Do not use delicate glasses or cups to
catch the ice. These could break as a
result of the difference in temperature.

Eating ice cubes which have been pre-
pared using impure or standing water
can be harmful to health! Incorrect
handling can lead to risks of causing
food poisoning.

Use only fresh drinking water to make
ice cubes.

Do not put ice cubes, crushed ice or
ice lollies straight into your mouth
from the freezer.
Filling the water tank

The water fi lter in the water tank can

Use only fresh drinking water to fi ll
the water tank. Do not fi ll the water
tank with any other fl uids.
■
Clean the water tank if it has not
been used for 48 hours; rinse out the
water system if water has not been
dispensed for 5 days.

1. Open the lid and fill the water tank (5) with
cold, fresh tap water so that the water lev-
el is above the “Min” mark but below the
“Max” mark (4.5 L).
2. Close the lid.
