12. Only clean the door seals with clean wa-
ter; they are sensitive to oil and fat.
13. Replace the glass shelves, the drawers
and the door shelves.
14. Return the food to the fridge or freezer
compartment.
15. Plug the mains plug back into the socket
and turn the temperature controller (12)
to level “5”.
16. As soon as a temperature of −18 °C has
been reached, turn the temperature con-
troller (12) back to the usual position.
Interior lighting
NOTICE
Improper handling of the appliance

Only use the interior light to illumi-
nate the interior of the appliance. It
is not suitable for lighting a room.
The interior light switches on automatically
when you open the door and switches off
when you close it.
Replacing the interior light
WARNING
Risk of electric shock!
Touching live parts may result in severe
injury or death.

Unplug the mains cable before chang-
ing the light bulb.
Only use light bulbs with an output of max.
10 W, 230 volts and an E14 base (ILCOS:
IBB/C-28-220/240-E14-35).
1. Pull the mains plug out of the socket.

2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to separate the
housing screws (15) in the interior lighting
cover.

3. Push the cover on the side hooks (16) to-
gether a little and remove them.
4. Unscrew the bulb from the holder and re-
place with a new one.
5. Replace the cover and then push it in
tight with care.
6. Replace the retaining screw once again
(15) and screw it tight.
