– Steel pots and pans as well as coated and
uncoated aluminium cookware with a thick
base. However, coated cookware must not
be overheated or scratched.
You should not use:
– Indented or battered pans.
– Pans with a rough base.
– Pans with a curved base.
– Coated cookware that is scratched inside.

The hob has four cooking zones. Each
cooking zone has its own temperature con-
troller.
• Turn the temperature controller to the de-
sired level of heat as needed:
from gentle simmering to rapid bubbling.
The heat settings (0 - 3) can be seen on
the temperature controller.
• Turn the temperature controller to level
“0” to switch off.
Using double circle and roasting
pan cooking zones

Risk of damage!
Turn the temperature controllers for the
double circle and roasting pan cooking
zones clockwise to turn them on and
counter-clockwise to turn them off.
Never turn past the double zone symbol

To extend the (1) or (3) cooking zone,
• turn the temperature controller briefly on
the double-zone symbol (20)“
” and
then release it.
• set the power as usual.
To reduce the size of the cooking zone
again,
• turn the temperature controller anti-clock-
wise to “0” and the turn the temperature
controller clockwise to the desired power.
