Setting the temperature
WARNING
Health hazard!
The appliance may not operate proper-
ly if exposed to low ambient tempera-
tures for extended periods of time. This
can then lead to an increase in temper-
ature in the fridge and freezer compart-
ment.

Always abide by the prescribed ambi-
ent temperature (see “Climate cate-
gories” line on page GB-31).
Using the buttons (15) FRZ.TEMP. and (19)
REF.TEMP you can set the temperature in
the freezer compartment and in the fridge
compartment independently of one another.
• First select a medium setting.
• If, for example in summer, the ambient
temperature increases, select a lower set-
ting accordingly.

1. Press the (15) FRZ.TEMP. button once.
The (16) signal will flash.
2. Press the FRZ.TEMP. button enough
times until the desired temperature is dis-
played. Once the signal appears perma-
nently, the temperature has been set.

The (17) signal will flash.
2. Press the REF.TEMP. button enough
times until the temperature is displayed.
Once the signal appears permanently, the
temperature has been set.

Select the (23) QUICKFRZ setting. “Quick
freezing” to pre-chill the freezer compartment
before storing food and to freeze fresh food.
