Children must not be allowed to play
with the appliance.

Cleaning and user maintenance may
not be performed by children unless
they are at least eight or more years
of age and under adult supervision.

Children can become entangled in
the packaging fi lm when playing and
suffocate. Ensure that the packaging
fi lm remains out of the reach of chil-
dren.

Children may swallow small parts
and suffocate. Ensure that children
do not remove any small parts from
the built-in oven or take them out of
the accessories packaging and place
them in their mouths.
■
Accessible parts may become hot
during use. Keep small children away.
■
Make sure that children are not able
to access the built-in oven unsuper-
vised.
■
Keep children away from the door
glass! The glass door can become
very hot during operation and pose a
risk of burning!
Risks associated with using ovens
Fire hazard!
Improper use of the built-in oven can
lead to fl ammable objects or food res-
idue in the cooking compartment ignit-
ing.
■
Always switch the built-in oven off
completely after use.
■
Only ever operate the built-in oven
with the oven door closed.
■
Do not cover cakes or roasts being
cooked in the built-in oven with bak-
ing parchment. Do not allow food,
baking parchment and aluminium
foil to come into contact with the
heating elements.
■
Do not place food to be grilled at the
back of the heating element. It is par-
ticularly hot there. Fatty foods can
catch fi re.
■
Do not store temperature-sensitive,
combustible or fl ammable objects
in the built-in oven. If the appliance
is switched on unintentionally such
items may deform or ignite.
■
Loose food residue, grease and meat
juices can ignite during the pyrolyt-
ic self-cleaning process. For this rea-
son, remove large bits of food or oth-
er contaminants from the cooking
compartment before each pyrolytic
self-cleaning process.

During the pyrolytic self-cleaning pro-
cess, the exterior of the appliance be-
comes very hot. Never hang fl amma-
ble objects such as dishcloths from
the door handle. Keep the front of the
appliance clear. Keep children away.

Do not use the built-in oven for stor-
age purposes.
