Do not leave the built-in oven unat-
tended while cooking food in oil and
grease or with alcohol. Food may ig-
nite of its own accord.

In the event of a fi re in the built-in
oven: Do not open the oven door!
–
Never extinguish burning oil or
fat with water!
■
In the event of a fi re, switch off the
built-in oven immediately and dis-
connect the mains plug and/or un-
screw the fuse. To extinguish the fi re,
use a suitable fi re extinguisher with
the designation ‘F’ or a fi re blanket.
■
Once the fi re has been extinguished,
have the built-in oven checked by our
customer service team (see „Our Ser-
vice Centre“ on page GB-28).
■
If the external cooling fan is broken,
the built-in oven can quickly overheat.
This can cause signifi cant damage to
the appliance and set fi re to any oth-
er nearby fl ammable objects. If this
occurs, switch off the appliance im-
mediately, open the oven door and
stop using the built-in oven.
CAUTION
Risk of burns!
During its use, the device and its ex-
posed parts can become hot.

Caution should be exercised not to
touch the heating elements, walls,
baking trays, etc.
■
Children aged 8 years or younger
must be kept away from the appli-
ance, unless they are under constant
supervision.
■
Hot steam can fl ow from the extrac-
tion hood (ventilation) when the oven
is in use. Exercise caution when open-
ing the hot built-in oven!

Never pour water directly into the hot
built-in oven. The steam produced
can cause scalding and damage to
the enamel.
■
Always allow hot water from the built-
in oven to cool before pouring it out.
■
Never leave the built-in oven unat-
tended while grilling. Keep children
away!
■
Allow the built-in oven to cool com-
pletely prior to cleaning it.
■
During the pyrolytic self-cleaning
process, the exterior of the appliance
becomes very hot. Do not touch the
oven door, and wait until the appli-
ance has cooled off, even after the
pyrolytic self-cleaning process is com-
plete. Keep children away.
Health hazard!
If raw meat, poultry or raw fi sh is de-
frosted in the built-in oven, micro-or-
ganisms can grow in the thawing liquid
which are harmful to health.

Do not defrost raw meat, poultry or
raw fi sh in the built-in oven. Take the
frozen food out of the freezer ahead
of time and let it defrost in the refrig-
erator. In doing so, it must be possi-
ble for the thawing liquid to drain.
