Information
• Ensure that the ambient temperatures indicated in
chapter ‘Technical data’ (see back cover) are com-
plied with.
Consuming very cold drinks or food poses a health risk.
• Ensure that you do not consume products that are too
cold (e.g. ice water).
CAUTION
Risk of injury while transporting!
The appliance is very heavy and can cause injury if, for
example, it falls on your feet.
• Check that the entry route and installation location are
free of obstacles (e.g. closed doors or objects lying on
the floor).
• During transport, when setting up, positioning and
changing the door hinges, get help from another per-
son.
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the appliance may result in dam-
age.
• Do not freeze carbonated drinks. Water expands
when frozen and can burst the container.
• Only freeze strong alcohol standing upright and closed
tightly.
• Do not put glass or metal containers with liquid in the
freezer compartment.
• Only place the appliance on a level and firm surface.
• Transport the appliance at a maximum angle of 45°.
• Do not tilt the appliance into a horizontal position. Only
rest it against the wall to change the door hinges. If
your refrigerator has been transported on its side
for an extended time, lubricant from the compressor
may have got into the refrigeration circuit. In this case,
leave the refrigerator in its normal position for about
12 hours before switching it on. This allows the lubri-
cant enough time to flow back into the compressor.
• The insulation of your appliance is made of polyure-
thane with environmentally friendly pentane insulating
foam. Do not use any electrical heating appliances,
scrapers, knives or any kind of aid with an open flame,
for example candles, to defrost. The thermal insula-
tion and the interior are scratch and heat-sensitive
and can melt.
