Attaching the door handle
Attach the door handle (3) before starting to
use the appliance.

1. Lift out both blind plugs (15) from the side
of the appliance door (2).

2. Screw the door handle (3) to the appli-
ance door (2) using the screws (16) pro-
vided.
Electrical connections

Touching live parts may result in severe
injury or death.

Do not operate or continue to oper-
ate the appliance, if it
–
shows visible signs of damage, e.g.
the mains cable is defective,
–
starts smoking or there is a smell of
burning,
–
makes unfamiliar noises.
In such cases, remove the mains plug
from the socket or unscrew/isolate
the fuse and contact our service de-
partment (see page EN-27).

Do not connect to a timer or a sepa-
rate remote-controlled system for dis-
tance monitoring and control.
■
Since all poles of the appliance can-
not be disconnected from the mains
via an accessible disconnecting de-
vice, an all-pole disconnecting device
in accordance with overvoltage cate-
gory III must be connected within the
house installation with at least 3 mm
contact clearance; consult a qualified
professional if necessary (see “Ser-
vice” on page EN-27).

Do not kink or pinch the supply cord
or lay it over sharp edges. This can re-
sult in a break in the cable.
