Heating the solid plates and
oven empty
Before using the appliance the first time, it
must be heated up empty in order to remove
production-related residues from the heating
elements.
During this process, make sure there is
enough ventilation, for example, by opening
a window. It is normal for a light odour and
smoke to develop that will then disappear
shortly thereafter.
– Set the solid plates to the highest level and
let them heat up for approx. 3 minutes.

– Let the oven heat up for 15 minutes with
top and bottom heat at 220 °C.

Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not necessarily mean there is a
defect in the appliance. For this reason, please check the tables to see if you can correct the
malfunction.
