Activating ECO mode
1. Unlock the control panel as described in
section „Locking/unlocking the control pan-
el“ on page EN-13.
2. Press the MODE button (19) repeatedly
until the indicator
ECO
(21) is shown on the
display.
The fridge temperature indicator will
change to +5 °C, and the freezer tempera-
ture indicator to –18 °C; the temperature in-
dicator for the convertible zone will remain
unchanged.
Once the desired mode is set, the indicator
for the selected mode will flash for approx.
5 seconds: The setting is completed once
it stops flashing.
Deactivating ECO mode
1. Unlock the control panel as described in
section „Locking/unlocking the control pan-
el“ on page EN-13.
2. Press the MODE button (19) repeated-
ly until the indicators (20),
ECO
(21) and
(17) are all no longer illuminating.
Door alarm
The use of energy and the temperature inside
the appliance can increase if the doors are
opened often or for long periods of time.
You will hear 5 beeps when the fridge
doors (3) or the freezer doors (10) are left
open for more than 2 minutes.
• Close the fridge doors (3) or the freezer
doors (10).
The shelves
The glass shelves (2), door shelves (4) and
the bottle racks (7) in the fridge can be taken
out and rearranged if necessary.
You will achieve the most efficient use of en-
ergy for your appliance if you combine the
drawers, glass shelves and door shelves, as
shown in the figure on page EN-11.
1. To remove the glass shelves (2), the door
shelves (4) or the bottle racks (7), lift them
slightly at the front and then pull them out
of the guide rail.
2. Place the glass shelves (2), the door
shelves (4) or the bottle racks (7) back into
the desired positions.
Pictograms
The following pictograms can be found on the
fruit/vegetable drawer (12):
CRISPER
ZONE
This means that you can store fresh fruit and
fresh vegetables in the fruit/vegetable draw-
er (12) (see “Chilling food” on page EN-18).
