If Quick freezing is activated, you can-
not change the fridge temperature.
To manually deactivate Quick freezing,
1. Unlock the control panel as described
in section “Locking/unlocking the control
panel” on page EN-17.
2. Press the MODE button (21) repeatedly
until the indicators (22),
ECO
(23) and
(17) are all no longer illuminated.
Holiday mode
CAUTION
Health hazard!
Insuffi cient cooling can cause stored
food to spoil.
This could lead to a risk of food poison-
ing when consumed.
■
Note that the shelf life of stored food
may be shortened due to a rise in the
temperature inside the appliance.
■
Remove stored food from the appli-
ance – even when only switching off
the appliance temporarily – and store
it in a suffi ciently cool place or in an-
other cooling appliance.
■
Consume thawed and defrosted
foods immediately, do not refreeze.
If you don’t intend to use the appliance for a
prolonged period (e.g. if you go on holiday),
you can activate “Holiday mode”. This will
save energy.
When the “Holiday mode” is active, the fridge
temperature will be adjusted to +17 °C; the
freezer temperature remains the same.
If Holiday mode is activated, you can-
not change the fridge temperature.
Activating “Holiday mode”
1. Unlock the control panel as described
in section “Locking/unlocking the control
panel” on page EN-17.
2. Press the MODE button (21) repeatedly
until the indicator (17) is shown on the
display.
The fridge temperature display (15)
changes to +17 °C; the freezer tempera-
ture display (16) remains unchanged.
Deactivating “Holiday mode”
1. Unlock the control panel as described
in section “Locking/unlocking the control
panel” on page EN-17.
2. Press the MODE button (21) repeatedly
until the indicators (22),
ECO
(23) and
(17) are all no longer illuminating.
ECO mode
Activating ECO mode
In the “ECO” operating mode, the tempera-
tures in the fridge and freezer are automat-
ically set according to the ambient temper-
ature:
