with a neutral pH are recommended.
■
Use care products only on the outer
surfaces.
■
Door seals and plastic parts are sen-
sitive to oil and grease. Remove con-
taminants as quickly as possible.
■
Only use soft cloths.
Checking the door seals
The door seals must be checked regularly so
that no air can enter the appliance.
1. To test them, clamp a thin piece of paper
in various places. The paper should be
difficult to pull through at all points.
2. If the seal is not uniform everywhere:
Warm the seal in the appropriate places
in front of you with a hair dryer and pull it
out with your fingers.
Cleaning the fridge
compartment
1. Disconnect the mains plug or switch off
the fuse.
2. Remove the chilled goods and place them
in a cool room.
3. Remove the vegetable drawers, door
shelves and glass shelves and wash all
the parts in lukewarm soapy water. Then
dry everything thoroughly.
4. Wipe out the interior with a cloth lightly
moistened in soapy water. Make sure that
no liquid gets into the control unit and re-
frigerator light.
5. When wiping clean, add a few drops of
vinegar to the water to prevent mould
from forming.
Wipe the interior dry and leave the door
open for a while to air.
6. Clean the opening of the defrost drain
using the supplied cleaning swab. The
defrost drain is located below the lower
vegetable drawer.
7. Only clean the door seals with clean wa-
ter; they are sensitive to oil and fat.
8. Re-insert the shelves and drawers .
9. Place the food back in the fridge.
10. Connect the mains plug to the socket or
switch on the fuse again.
11. Set the desired temperature or automat-
ic mode (Smart).
