NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
If the appliance has been transported
horizontally, lubricant from the com-
pressor may have entered the cooling
circuit.
• Never tilt the fridge-freezer horizontal-
ly if it can be avoided.
• After transport, leave the appliance
standing in its normal position for ap-
prox. 2 hours before plugging it in.
This allows the lubricant enough time
to flow back into the compressor.
Improper handling of the appliance can
lead to property damage.
• Do not pull or lift the appliance by the
doors or door handles.
• Do not use sharp or pointed objects to
unpack it.
• Do not use electrical appliances inside
the food storage compartments of the
appliance, unless they are of the type
recommended by the manufacturer.
• Do not use any mechanical devices or
means other than those recommend-
ed by the manufacturer.
• Do not use mechanical devices or
other means to accelerate the defrost-
ing process, other than those recom-
mended by the manufacturer.
• Do not place any heat-emitting appli-
ances, such as microwaves or toast-
ers, on the combination fridge-freezer.
Do not cover the vents.
• Only use original accessories.
• After switching off, wait for 5 minutes
before switching the appliance back
on again.
• To get rid of the smell that comes with
all new appliances, wipe down the in-
side using lukewarm water with vine-
gar.
• The interior light must be used only
as fridge lighting. It is not suitable for
lighting a room.
• When cleaning, please note:

acidic, solvent-based or abrasive
cleaners. All-purpose cleaners with
a neutral pH are recommended.

dirt as quickly as possible.
