Operation
WARNING
Danger of explosion!
Defrosting sprays can form explosive
gases, may contain components that
damage plastic, and may be harmful
to health.
• Never use defrosting sprays.
WARNING
Health hazard!
An increase in the temperature of
the frozen food during defrosting can
shorten the shelf life of the frozen food.
• Ensure that the frozen food is kept
sufficiently cool during defrosting.
CAUTION
Risk of injury!
Improper handling of the combination
fridge-freezer may result in skin dam-
age and injury.
• Never touch the inside walls or fro-
zen food with wet hands. Injuries can
also occur with dry hands though.
• Use a dry towel to remove the frozen
food.
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the combination
fridge-freezer may lead to damage.
• Do not use electric heaters, open
flames or ice scrapers for defrosting.
The insulation could melt or become
scratched.
Care and maintenance
• When removing the glass shelves,
hold them firmly by their plastic
frames. The glass panels in the glass
shelves over the crisper compart-
ments are loosely fitted and can be
pressed out.
• Do not use any corrosive or abrasive
cleaners or sponges for cleaning.
They could damage the surfaces.
All-purpose cleaners with a neutral
pH are recommended.
• Never spray the combination
fridge-freezer with a jet of water (e.g.
from a pressure washer).
• Make sure that no cleaning water
gets into the electrical parts.
• Use only soft cloths.
• Use cleaning products only on the
outer surfaces.
• The seals of the door are sensitive
to oil and grease. The surfaces can
be damaged by unsuitable clean-
ing agents. For this reason, do not
grease the door seals.
Cleaning outer walls and doors

Coated surfaces
Only use light pH-neutral soapy water. Nev-
er use abrasive cleaning powder, soda, acid
or solvent-based cleaning agents.
–
Stainless steel surfaces
Use a dedicated stainless steel cleaner from
a specialist shop. Never use polish!
