Preparation
4. Use flat-nose pliers to carefully pull the temperature con-
troller out of its holder. If necessary, put a cloth between the
temperature controller and the flat-nose pliers to prevent
scratches. Lever out the two sides of the cover on the front
slightly and lift the cover up.

5. Unscrew the hinge plate’s three fixing screws and the two
individual screws on the opposite side. To do this, use an 8
mm spanner or a cross-head screwdriver. Remove the hinge
plate.
6. Screw the hinge plate as well as the two individual screws
back onto the respective opposite side.
9. Tip the freezer backwards (maximum 45°) so that you can
also move the lower door hinge.
10. Unscrew both front screw feet.
11. Unscrew the lower hinge plate. To do this, use an 8 mm
spanner or a cross-head screwdriver.
12. Move the hinge pin to the opposite side of the hinge plate. To
loosen and tighten the nut, use a 10 mm spanner or the un-
derside of a screw foot.
7. Place the cover back on the freezer. Push down on both
sides (left and right) of the front of the cover until you hear
it click into place. Reattach the temperature controller to its
designated holder.

8. Screw the two screws tightly back onto the cover. To do this,
use a cross-head screwdriver. Reattach both screw covers.
