Risk of injury!
The low temperatures of the stored food and the appli-
ance’s inner walls can cause injury if you touch them.
• The food and the inside walls of the freezer compart-
ment have a very low temperature. Therefore, never
touch them with wet hands. This could result in skin
injuries. Skin damage can occur even with dry skin.
Use a dry cloth to pick up the frozen food.
First time freezing/Storing more than 2 kg
1. Set the temperature controller to ‘MAX’ to precool the freezer
before storing the food.
2. You can store frozen goods once the temperature reaches
-18°C (check with a fridge/freezer thermometer).
3. Fresh food can be stored when the temperature reaches
-22°C. The temperature will briefly increase.
4. After 24 hours, the goods are frozen to the core. Return the
temperature controller to its usual position.

• Never freeze carbonated drinks.
NOTICE

Improper handling of the appliance may result in dam-
age.
• Do not freeze drinks! Water expands when frozen
and can burst the container.
