Setting the temperature
WARNING
Health hazard!
The appliance may not operate proper-
ly if exposed to low ambient tempera-
tures for extended periods of time. This
can then lead to an increase in temper-
ature inside the appliance.
■
Always abide by the prescribed ambi-
ent temperature (see ‘Climate cate-
gories’ on see EN-28).
Using the buttons (4) ‘Increase temperature’
and (5) “Decrease temperature” you can set
the temperature in the appliance. The tem-
perature display (2) shows the set temper-
ature.
You have a choice of temperatures of be-
tween -16°C to -24°C. The temperature pre-
set by the manufacturer is -18°C.
• First select a medium setting.
• If, for example in summer, the ambient
temperature increases, so select a lower
setting accordingly.
To set
– the temperature higher, press the ‘Increase
temperature’ button (4) until the desired
temperature is displayed.
– the temperature lower, press the ‘Decrease
temperature’ button (5) until the desired
temperature is displayed.
The setting takes effect automatically after
3 seconds.
You ideally need a freezer thermometer to be
able to control the cooling efficiency.
• Place the freezer thermometer in one of
the large freezer drawers (13); the ideal
storage temperature is -18°C.
