Troubleshooting table
Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appli-
ances. This does not necessarily mean there
is a defect in the appliance. For this reason,
please check the tables to see if you can cor-
rect the malfunction.
Temperature alarm
If the temperature within the appliance in-
creases above -8°C for longer than 6 hours,
a warning signal will sound for 10 seconds.
The temperature display (2) will show the
fault code ‘E9’.
The temperature alarm will sound repeat-
edly every 30 minutes. It will fall silent only
when the temperature within the appliance
falls back below -12°C, or if you switch off
the alarm.
• To disable the alarm, press any button.

side temperature rises, the compressor au-
tomatically turns on.
The appliance
cools too quickly.
Temperature has been set
too low.
Select a higher setting (see „Setting the tem-
perature“ on page EN-10).
