Cleaning the freezer
Preparing for cleaning

3 hours before cleaning.
To do so, press and hold down the ‘Quick
freeze’ button (1) for approximately 3 sec-
onds. The ‘Quick freeze’ display (3) will
light up.
This way, the frozen food gets a cold re-
serve and does not defrost as quickly.
4. Switch off the freezer by pressing and
holding down the on/off button (6) for ap-
proximately 3 seconds.
5. Disconnect the mains plug from the sock-
et or switch off/unscrew the fuse.
6. Remove the frozen food from the freezer.
7. Ensure that your food is kept cool
enough.
Cleaning
1. Remove the ice cube maker (9), the
ice cube container (11), the freezer
drawers (10) and (12)–(14), the glass
shelves (16) and the door shelves (18)
from the freezer.
2. Wash the previously removed fixtures in
warm water with washing-up liquid and
dry thoroughly.
3. Wipe down the inside with warm water
and washing-up liquid.
4. Wipe down the interior with clean water.
When wiping clean, add a few drops of
vinegar to the water to prevent mould
from forming.
5. Only clean the door seals with clean wa-
ter; they are sensitive to oil and fat.
6. Rub everything completely dry, including
the door seals, and allow to air briefly.
7. Replace the previously removed appli-
ance parts.

2. Connect the mains plug to the socket or
switch on / screw in the fuse again.
3. Press and hold the button (1) for approxi-
mately 3 seconds, to switch on the ‘Quick
freeze’ function.
