Check before you start

1. Unpack the chest freezer and remove all 

packaging parts, plastic moulding, adhe-
sive strips and foam padding from inside, 
outside and the back of the appliance.

2. Check that the delivery is complete.
3. Check to see if the chest freezer shows 

any signs of any damage sustained in 
transit. 

4. If the delivery is incomplete or the freez-

er has been damaged in transit, please 
contact our service department (see page 
GB-21).

Intended use

This chest freezer is suitable for storing com-
mercially deep-frozen food, for freezing fresh 
foods and for making ice.

The appliance is intended solely for use in pri-
vate households. It is not designed for com-
mercial use.

Use the chest freezer only as described in 
this user manual. Any other use is deemed 
improper use and may result in damage to 
property or even personal injury. The manu-
facturer accepts no liability and gives no war-
ranty for damage caused by improper use.
