Operation
Before getting started
• Read chapter “For your safety” from
page EN-4 and observe all safety notices.
• Set up and connect the appliance as
described in chapter “First use” from
page EN-23.
Switching the appliance on
and off
Switching on
1. To switch the appliance on, insert the
mains plug into the socket (see “Con-
necting the appliance to electricity” on
page EN-25).

All indicators on the control panel (3) will
light up.
2. If the appliance makes unusual noises,
check that it is on a solid base and re-
move any objects that are on top of the
appliance.
Switching off
1. To switch the appliance off completely,
pull out the mains plug.
All indicators will go off.
2. If the appliance is switched off, leave the
lid open slightly to avoid mould formation.
Setting the temperature
The appliance can be used as either a fridge
or a freezer. You can set the temperature us-
ing the control panel (3).
You can set the temperature to between
+10 °C and –30 °C.

1. Press the “Super” button (7) for approx-
imately 3 seconds until the temperature
indicator (13) flashes once.
2. Press the “Temp.” button (8) repeatedly
until the desired temperature is displayed.
Once the desired temperature has been
set, the temperature indicator will flash a
few times.
The temperature is now set.
“Super” mode
If you want to store a large amount of frozen
food at the same time, in this mode the stor-
age temperature will be reached more quickly
and the food therefore frozen faster.
• To activate the “Super” mode, press the
“Super” button (7).
