the appliance to catch thaw water which
may come out.
8. The defrosting time depends on the
thickness of the ice layer. Experience
dictates that it is possible to start clean-
ing after approx. 1 hour.
9. Take the fruit/vegetable drawer (6), the
glass cover (7) and the glass shelves (8)
out of the fridge.
10. In order to remove the door shelves (3),
push them together slightly sideways
and simultaneously pull them upwards
out of the holders.
11. Clean all of the parts in lukewarm soapy
water. Then dry everything thoroughly.
12. Wash the interior with warm water and
washing up liquid.
13. When wiping clean, add a few drops of
vinegar to the water to prevent mould
from forming.
14. Wipe the interior dry and leave the appli-
ance doors open a while to air.

15. The defrost drain (9) can be found on
the reverse side of the cooling area
above the fruit/vegetable drawer (6).
Use the cleaning tool (10) to clean the
defrost drain (9).
16. Only clean the door seals with clean wa-
ter; they are sensitive to oil and fat.
17. Replace the glass shelves (8), the fruit/
vegetable drawer (6), the glass cover (7)
and the door shelves (3).
18. Return the food to the fridge or freezer.
19. Plug the mains plug back into the socket
and turn the temperature controller (1) to
level “7”.
20. As soon as a temperature of –18 °C has
been reached, turn the temperature con-
troller back to the usual position.

ing at any point, contact our Service depart-
