– decrease the refrigeration output in the
fridge and freezer compartments, turn
the temperature controller towards ‘1’.
You ideally need two refrigerator/freezer ther-
mometers to be able to control the refrigera-
tion output.
• Place
– one above the vegetable drawer (8) in
the fridge; the ideal temperature here is
+6 °C.
– the other in the freezer; the ideal temper-
ature in the freezer is −18 °C.
Shelves and door shelves
The glass shelves (12), bottle rack (11) and
the door shelves (2) and (5) can be taken out
and rearranged if necessary.
You will achieve the most efficient use of en-
ergy for your appliance if you combine the
drawers, glass shelves and door shelves as
shown in the diagram on page EN-11.
1. In order to remove the door shelves, sim-
ply pull them upwards out of the holders.
2. To remove the glass shelves, lift them
slightly at the back and then pull them out
of the guide rail.
3. Place the door and glass shelves back
into the desired positions.
Filling the water tank
CAUTION
Contaminated food can cause health
problems.

Clean the water tank if it has not
been used for 48 hours; rinse out the
water system if water has not been
dispensed for 5 days.

• Open the cap (14) of the water tank (4),
pour fresh drinking water in the water
tank (4), and then replace the cap (14).
