Before getting started
• Read chapter “Safety“ from page EN-5
and observe all safety notices.
• Set up and connect the appliance as
described in chapter “Start-up“ from
page EN-22.
Switching the appliance on
and off
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the appliance
can lead to damage to property.

The interior light must only be used
to illuminate the interior of the appli-
ance. It is not suitable for lighting a
room.
Switching on
The appliance is switched on as soon as the
mains plug is plugged in. The compressor
starts to work, the refrigerant flows through
the pipes and a quiet humming sound can
be heard.
If the appliance makes worrying nois-
es, check the solid base and remove
any objects that may be on top of the
appliance.
Switching off
• To switch the appliance off, pull the mains
plug out of the socket.

Setting the temperature
WARNING
Health hazard!
The appliance may not operate proper-
ly if exposed to low ambient tempera-
tures for extended periods of time. This
can then lead to an increase in temper-
ature in the fridge and freezer.

Always ensure the prescribed ambi-
ent temperature is maintained (see
“Intended use“ on page EN-5).
If you set a lower temperature, you will
need a higher cooling performance.
This increases energy consumption.

• Use the button (15) to set the fridge to
the desired temperature.
The temperature setting will light up on the
display.
• First, select a medium setting (e.g. 6 °C).
• If, for example in summer, the ambient
temperature increases, select a lower set-
ting accordingly.
• To activate the ‘FAST COOL’ mode,
press the button repeatedly until ‘FAST
COOL’ lights up on the display.
The appliance will set the fridge tempera-
ture to 2 °C and then return to the previous-
ly set temperature after 150 minutes.
The ideal temperature for the fridge is +6 °C.
