Setting the temperature in the
fridge
The fridge temperature can be set between
+2 °C and +8 °C.
1. Unlock the control panel as described
in section “Locking/unlocking the control
panel” on page EN-12.
2. Press the FRIDGE button (23) repeatedly
until the desired temperature is shown.

The temperature is increased by 1 °C
each time you press the button. If the set-
ting r8 °C, it jumps back to +2 °C
the next time you press the button.
The ideal fridge temperature is +6 °C.
Setting the temperature in the
freezer
The freezer temperature can be set between
–14 °C and –22 °C.
1. Unlock the control panel as described
in section “Locking/unlocking the control
panel” on page EN-12.
2. Press the FREEZER button (24) repeat-
edly until the desired temperature is
shown.

The temperature is reduced by 1 °C each
time you press the button. If the setting
reaches –22 °C, it jumps back to –14 °C
the next time you press the button.
The ideal temperature for the freezer is
−18 °C.
Setting the temperature and
humidity in the fresh food
drawer
CAUTION
Health hazard!
Insufficient cooling can
cause stored food to spoil.
This could lead to a risk of food poison-
ing when consumed.

Note that the shelf life of stored food
may be shortened due to a rise in the
temperature inside the appliance.
■
Remove stored food from the appli-
ance – even when only switching off
the appliance temporarily – and store
it in a sufficiently cool place or in an-
other cooling appliance.
■
Consume thawed and defrosted foods
immediately and do not refreeze.
The ventilation (17) allows you to adjust the
temperature and humidity in the fresh food
drawer (13) to suit what you want to store in it.

• Slide the controller (28) up if you want to
store food that should remain fresh but
not freeze in the fresh food drawer (13),
e.g. raw fish or raw meat.
• Slide the controller (28) down if you want
to store mostly fruits and vegetables in the
fresh food drawer (13).
