If you have set the controller (28) to the
upper position, you should set the tem-
perature in the fridge to below +4 °C.
You should also not store food in the fresh
food drawer (13) for more than three days.
Setting the operating modes
The appliance is equipped with three operat-
ing modes: ECO, SUPER and Holiday mode.
Activating ECO
In the “ECO” operating mode, the tempera-
tures in the fridge and freezer are automat-
ically set according to the ambient temper-
ature:

1. Unlock the control panel as described
in section “Locking/unlocking the control
panel” on page EN-12.
2. Press the MODE button (25) repeated-
ly until the “ECO mode active” indicator
ECO
(27) flashes. The temperature displays
are updated.
After about 5 seconds, the indicator stops
flashing; ECO mode is activated.
Deactivating ECO
1. Unlock the control panel as described
in section “Locking/unlocking the control
panel” on page EN-12.
2. Press the MODE button (25) repeated-
ly until the indicators
ECO
(27), (21) or
(26) are no longer visible.
The temperature settings return to the
previously set values; ECO mode is de-
activated.
Activating SUPER
The “Super” operating mode cools the freezer
to –25 °C. The temperature in the fridge re-
mains unchanged.
1. Unlock the control panel as described
in section “Locking/unlocking the control
panel” on page EN-12.
2. Press the MODE button (25) repeatedly
until the “SUPER mode active” indicator
(26) flashes. The temperature display
for the freezer will change to –25 °C; the
fridge temperature remains the same.
After about 5 seconds, the indicator stops
flashing; SUPER mode is activated.
Deactivating SUPER
1. Unlock the control panel as described
in section “Locking/unlocking the control
panel” on page EN-12.
2. Press the MODE button (25) repeated-
ly until the symbols
ECO
(27), (21) or
(26) are no longer visible.
The temperature setting in the freezer re-
turns to the previously set value; SUPER
mode is deactivated.
After 50 hours, SUPER mode is auto-
matically deactivated.
