CAUTION
Health hazard!
Consuming spoilt food may lead to food poisoning.
Raw meats and fish, if handled incorrectly, may con-
taminate neighbouring food with salmonella or similar.
• Do not exceed the storage times for the food recom-
mended by the food manufacturers.
• Make sure that food is kept refrigerated even in the
event of a power failure or other interruption to the
power supply.
• Adequately pack raw meat and fish.

Contaminated foods can cause health problems.
• Opening the door for long periods can cause a sig-
nificant increase of the temperature in the compart-
ments of the appliance.
• Clean regularly surfaces that can come in contact
with food and accessible drainage systems.
• Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers in the
refrigerator, so that it is not in contact with or drip
onto other food.
• If the refrigerating appliance is left empty for long
periods, switch off, defrost, clean, dry, and leave
the door open to prevent mould developing within
the appliance.
• To maintain the flavour and freshness of food in the refrigerator,
make sure that any food to be refrigerated is packed up before
you place it inside the fridge compartment. Use special plastic
containers for good or standard food wrap.
• Allow hot food to cool before placing it in the fridge compartment.
• Place the food
– in the fridge in a way that allows the air to circulate freely.
Do not cover the shelves with paper or anything similar.
