Cleaning the door seal
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
The door seal of the refrigerator is sensitive to grease
and oil, which make it porous and brittle.
• Use only damp, clean cloths.
• Do not use caustic, abrasive, sand, soda, or acidic
detergents or sponges.
Check the door seal regularly for dirt and damage to ensure that
warm air does not enter the refrigerator.
1. Clean the door seal regularly with a damp cloth.
2. Clamp a piece of paper between the refrigerator and the refrig-
erator door at various points. The paper should be difficult to
pull through at all points.
3. If the seal is not uniform everywhere, warm it gently with a hair
dryer at the unsealed points. Gently pull the seal out with your
fingers.
