The consumption of ice cubes that
have been prepared using contaminat-
ed or standing water can be harmful to
health. Incorrect handling can lead to a
risk of food poisoning.

Use only fresh drinking water to make
ice cubes.
• Fill the supplied ice cube container to
the ¾ level with fresh drinking water and
place it horizontally in the freezer com-
partment (1).
The ice cubes are best removed by
bending the ice cube container slightly
or holding it under running water for a short
while.
