Operation
Before getting started
• Read chapter “Safety” from page EN-4 and
all the safety notices.
• Set up and connect the appliance as
described in chapter “First use” from
page EN-19.
Switching the appliance on
and off
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
If the cooling appliance has been trans-
ported horizontally, lubricant from the
compressor may get into the cooling
circuit.

Allow the appliance to stand upright
for approx. 2 hours after transport
and before connecting.
Switching on
The appliance is switched on as soon as the
mains plug is plugged in.
The compressor starts to work, the refrigerant
flows through the pipes and a quiet humming
sound can be heard.
The indicators on the control panel illuminate
for 3 seconds.
If the appliance is making unusual
noises, check that it is stable and re-
move any objects that may be on top
of it.
Activating and deactivating
standby mode
The appliance has a standby mode where it
is not in use but not switched off.
• To activate standby mode, press the (16)
button for approx. 10 seconds.
A beep will sound, and the indicator for the
selected temperature on the control panel
as well as the interior light will switch off.
• To deactivate standby mode, press the (16)
button or the (15) button again briefly.
A beep will sound, and the indicator for the
selected temperature on the control panel
as well as the interior light will illuminate.
Switching off
• To switch the appliance off, pull the mains
plug out of the socket.
If the appliance is switched off, leave
the appliance door (2) open slightly to
avoid mould formation.
