Door alarm
The energy consumption and the tempera-
ture inside the appliance can increase if the
appliance door (2) is opened often or for long
periods of time.
A beep will sound if the appliance door (2) is
left open for longer than 2 minutes.
• Close the appliance door (2).
• Press the button (16) to turn off the beep.
The shelves
The glass shelves (12) and the bottle rack (11)
can be taken out and rearranged if necessary.
1. To remove the glass shelves (12), lift them
slightly at the front and then pull them out
of the guide rail.
2. Place the glass shelves (12) back into the
desired positions.
The small door shelf (4) can likewise be re-
moved and rearranged if necessary.
1. To remove the small door shelf (4), press
both ends together slightly and pull it out.
2. Place the small door shelf (4) back into the
desired position.
You will achieve the most efficient use of en-
ergy for your appliance if you combine the
drawers, glass shelves and door shelves as
shown in the figure on page EN-9.
Pictograms
The following pictograms can be found on the
fruit/vegetable drawer (8):
This means that you can store fresh fruit and
fresh vegetables in the fruit/vegetable draw-
er (8) (see “Chilling food” on page EN-14).
The following pictograms are displayed on
the fish/meat drawer (9):
This means that fresh meat, game, poultry or
raw fish can be stored in the fish/meat draw-
er (9) and are to be consumed as soon as
possible (see “Chilling food” on page EN-14).
The following pictograms can be found on the
bottle racks (6):
They indicate that you can store small and
large drink bottles as well as ketchup bottles,
for example, on the bottle racks (6).
