Before getting started
• Read the chapter “Safety” on page EN-4.
• Set up and connect the appliance as
described in chapter “Start-up” on
page EN-22.
Switching the appliance on
and off
Switching on
• Set the temperature control dial (11) to a
setting between “1” and “7”.
The interior light (12) comes on.
The appliance is switched on.
Switching off
• Set the temperature control dial (11) to
“0”.
The interior light (12) goes out. The appli-
ance is switched off.
If the appliance makes unusual noises
when it is switched on, check that it is
in a stable position.
Operation
Setting the power level
WARNING
Health hazard!
The appliance may not operate proper-
ly if exposed to low ambient tempera-
tures for extended periods of time. This
can then lead to an increase in temper-
ature in the fridge and freezer compart-
ment.

Always ensure the ambient tempera-
ture is kept within the specifi ed range
(see “Intended use” on page EN-4).
If you set a lower temperature, you will
require more power. This increases
energy consumption.

• To set the temperature, use the temper-

set to “0”, the compressor stops work-
ing and the interior light goes out.
