WARNING
Health hazard caused by refrigerant!
■
Do not damage the refrigeration
circuit, e.g. by piercing the refriger-
ant channels of the evaporator with
sharp objects, by bending pipes, etc.
■
Leaking refrigerant is flammable, and
can lead to eye damage. If this hap-
pens, rinse eyes with clear water and
call a doctor immediately.
■
To prevent the formation of a flam-
mable gas-air mixture in the event of
a leakage in the refrigeration circuit,
the installation space must have a
minimum size of 1 m
3
per 8 g of re-
frigerant in compliance with the EN
378 standard.
The amount
of refrigerant in your appliance can
be found on the data sheet (see data
sheet starting on page GB-24).
WARNING
Fire hazard!
Improper handling of the appliance
can lead to fire and property damage.
■
Do not place the appliance directly
against the wall. Observe minimum
distances.
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
The appliance may not operate proper-
ly if exposed to low ambient tempera-
tures for extended periods of time. This
can then lead to an increase in temper-
ature inside the appliance.
■
Observe the specified ambient tem-
perature (see “Climate category”
from page GB-24).
Improper handling of the appliance
during transport, unpacking and start-
up can damage the appliance:
■
Do not use any pointed objects while
removing the packaging and protec-
tive film.
■
Do not remove stickers from the rear
of the appliance.
■
Do not remove insulation.
■
Do not use the door to hold or lift the
appliance.
■
Leave the appliance to stand for 2
hours after transportation to allow
the refrigerant to settle.
■
If possible, do not tip the appliance
horizontally, but transport it at a
maximum inclined angle of 45°.
■
Only rest the appliance against the
wall to switch the door stop.
Moving and unpacking
• Move the appliance using a trolley or with
the help of a second person.
• Unpack the device and carefully remove
all packaging items, plastic profiles, adhe-
sive strips and foam padding from inside,
outside and from the back plate of the
device.
