Risk of damage!
The appliance may not operate proper-
ly if the ambient temperature exceeds
or falls below the specifi ed temperature
range for a prolonged period. This can
then lead to an increase in temperature
inside the appliance.
■
Always ensure that the ambient tem-
perature remains within the specifi ed
range (see product data sheet at the
end of this user manual)
– The appliance must only be placed on a
level and firm surface. The surface must be
strong enough to support the appliance’s
weight when fully laden.
– Suitable locations are dry, well-ventilated
areas that are cool if possible.
– Unsuitable locations are ones with direct
sunlight or which are directly next to an
oven, hob or radiator. The following mini-
mum distances must be observed:
– to electric stoves
50 mm
– to oil and coal burning ovens
300 mm
– to other refrigeration appliances 50 mm
– to washing machines/
dishwashers
50 mm
– If you would like to reduce the distance to
oil or coal-fired stoves, you can fit an insu-
lation plate between the appliances.
– If underfloor heating is installed at the set-
up location, place the cooling appliance on
an insulation plate made from solid mate-
rial.

If the room is too small, a leak in the re-
frigerant circuit can cause an explosive
mix of gas and air.

The room in which the freezer is set
up must be at least 5.7 m³ in size.
