Basic cleaning
Wipe the interior with vinegar water before
using the appliance for the first time. Then
wipe it out with clean water and dry all of the
parts off afterwards.

Touching live parts may result in severe

When installing the appliance, en-
sure that the mains cable does not
become pinched or damaged. Do
not kink the mains cable or lay it over
sharp edges.

Connection to a timer or separate re-
mote control system for the purpos-
es of remotely monitoring and con-
trolling it is not permitted.

Do not locate multiple portable sock-
et-outlets or portable power supplies
at the rear of the appliance.

1. Turn the temperature controller (1) to
‘OFF’.
2. Insert the mains plug into an easily acces-
sible and properly installed socket (220-
240 V~ / 50 Hz).
3. Turn the temperature controller (1) to a
middle value.
4. Close the appliance door and wait three
to four hours before putting any food into
the freezer. With a very high ambient tem-
perature, for example, in the summer, you
should wait more than four hours before
storing food.
