2. Once the temperature in the freezer com-
partment is −18 °C (check with a fridge/
freezer thermometer), you can store the
frozen food in the freezer compartment.
3. If the freezer temperature is –22 °C, you
can store fresh foods. The temperature in
the freezer rises temporarily.
4. After another 12 hours, the goods are
frozen to the core. Press the selection
button enough times until the original
temperature setting is shown again on the
display.
The symbol goes out. "Quick freezing"
is switched off.

Select the setting QUICKREF. "Quick refrig-
erating" (22), for example when you would
like a can you have put in the fridge to be
cooled faster.
1. Press the selection MODE button (25)
several times until the symbol appears
on the display. The signal (17) indicates
the temperature setting 2 °C for the fridge.
2. Once the fridge compartment is cold
enough, press the selection button
enough times until the original tempera-
ture setting is shown again on the display.
The symbol goes out. "Quick refrigerat-
ing" is switched off.
Quick freezing and Quick
refrigerating at the same time
You can set "Quick freezing" and "Quick re-
frigerating" at the same time.
• Press the selection button MODE (25)
several times until both symbols and
appear on the display.
The "Quick freezing" function automat-
ically turns off after 26 hours. The
appliance will then automatically return
to the previously set temperature.
After 2.5 hours, the appliance will automati-
cally exit the "Quick refrigerating" mode and
return to the previously set fridge temperature.
You can also end "Quick freezing" and "Quick
refrigerating" manually at any time.
Holiday mode

Stored food can spoil from insuffi cient
cooling. This could lead to a risk of food
poisoning when consumed.

Note that the shelf life of stored food
may be shortened due to a rise in the
temperature inside the appliance.
■
Remove stored food from the appli-
ance – even when only switching off
the appliance temporarily – and store
it in a suffi ciently cool place or in an-
other refrigerating appliance.
■
Consume thawed and defrosted
foods immediately, do not refreeze.
