• In order to switch off “Quick freezing” and
“Quick refrigerating”, press the MODE
selection button as often as required until
the QUICK FRZ and QUICK REF
symbols disappear from the display.
Holiday mode
WARNING
Health hazard!
Stored food can spoil from insuffi cient
cooling. This could lead to a risk of food
poisoning when consumed.
■
Note that the shelf life of stored food
may be shortened due to a rise in the
temperature inside the appliance.
■
Remove stored food from the appli-
ance – even when only switching off
the appliance temporarily – and store
it in a suffi ciently cool place or in an-
other refrigerating appliance.
■
Consume thawed and defrosted
foods immediately, do not refreeze.
You can switch off the fridge compartment
(e.g. while on holiday) without interrupting
the power supply. The freezer compartment
will stay cold.

Switching on
• Press the (31) MODE selection button as
often as required until the (30) symbol
and the signal OFF appear on the display.
The temperature signals show –18 °C and
“
−
”.
Switching off
You can turn off “Holiday mode” in various
ways.
• Press the (31) MODE selection button as
often as required until the (30) symbol
appears on the display.
“Holiday mode” is turned off.
• Press the (20) REF.TEMP. button once.
The (19) temperature signal will flash.
If you press the REF.TEMP button again
you will change the temperature setting of
the fridge compartment and thus turn off
“Holiday mode”.
• Press the (15) FRZ.TEMP. button once.
The (16) temperature signal will flash.
If you press the FRZ.TEMP button again
you will change the temperature setting of
the freezer compartment and thus turn off
“Holiday mode”.
Door alarm
The use of energy and the temperature inside
the appliance can increase if the doors are
opened often or for long periods of time.
To avoid an excessive loss of cooling, you will
hear a beeping noise when one or both doors
of the fridge-freezer have been open for more
than 2 minutes.
• Close the open door(s).
Rearranging the shelves
The glass shelves(6) and (10) as well as
the bottle rack(9) can be taken out and rear-
ranged if necessary.
1. Lift the glass tray/bottle rack and take it
out.
2. Place the glass shelf/bottle rack in a new
position.
The door shelves (1), (3), (13) and (14) can
also be taken out and re-positioned.
1. Lift the door shelves up and take them
out.
2. Insert the door shelf from above.
