■
The interior light must only be used
to illuminate the interior of the appli-
ance. It is not suitable for lighting a
room.
■
Do not store glass or metal contain-
ers containing water, lemonade, beer
etc. in the freezer compartment. Wa-
ter expands when frozen and can
burst the container.
■
Defrost the freezer compartment in
a timely manner, before it forms a
layer of ice and frost of more than 5
mm. Excessive ice formation increas-
es power consumption and the freez-
er compartment door may no longer
close tightly.
■
Do not put any objects in the cooling
system’s ventilation slots and also
make sure that children cannot insert
any objects in them.
■
Only use original accessories.
■
Wait 5 minutes after switching off.
Only then switch the appliance on
again.
■
Do not dispense water from the cold
water outlet for longer than 3 min-
utes at a time.
■
Do not use mechanical devices or
other means to accelerate the de-
frosting process, other than those re-
commended by the manufacturer,
for example, do not use any electric
heating equipment, knives or devices
with an open flame such as a candle.
The thermal insulation and the interi-
or are scratch and heat-sensitive and
can melt.
Improper cleaning of the appliance can
lead to damage.
■
Never use harsh, granular, soda, ac-
id, solvent-based or abrasive cleaners.
All-purpose cleaners with a neutral
pH are recommended.
■
Door seals and plastic parts are sen-
sitive to oil and grease. Remove con-
taminants as quickly as possible.
■
Use only soft cloths for cleaning.
■
Do not wash individual appliance
parts in a dishwasher. They are not
dishwasher-safe.
■
Never spray the appliance with a wa-
ter jet (e.g. high-pressure cleaner).
■
Make sure that no water gets into the
electrical parts of the appliance.
Risk of water damage!
Faulty assembly of the water connec-
tion can result in water damage.
■
The appliance’s water pressure is set
at 2–7 bar. For higher water pressure,
a pressure regulator needs to be in-
stalled. If in doubt, enquire about the
water pressure with the water supply
company.
■
Do not connect the appliance to the
tap or mixing arm of a water heat-
er (e.g. continuous flow heater, pres-
sure-free boiler, etc.).
■
Ensure that the hoses are not kinked
and are carefully connected.
■
Do not extend hoses if they are too
short. In this case, contact our service
department (see page GB-43).
■
Do not use old or previously installed
hoses.
