1. Determine the installation height of the
water filter (43).
The white appliance hose (56) must be
able to reach the water filter.
If the white appliance hose is too short, ex-
tend it by using the blue extension hose
(57) (see "Removing cold water and ice“
on page GB-24).
2. Mark two points on the wall that are at the
previously determined height. The dis-
tance between the points should be 14.9
cm. Use the measuring stick, pencil and
level to do this.
3. Use a metal detector to check the drill ar-
eas. Select another location for assembly
if necessary.
4. Drill a hole about 25 mm deep in each
marked position using a masonry drill.
5. Place the wall plugs (50) into the holes.

6. Screw the wall brackets (48) tightly onto
the wall with the screws (49). Use the
cross-headed screwdriver.
The screws will sink into the wall brackets.

7. Remove both caps (52) from the water
filter.

8. Press the water filter into the wall brack-
ets so that the arrow on the water filter
points in the direction of the white appli-
ance hose (56).
