Troubleshooting table
Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not neces-
sarily mean there is a defect in the appliance. For this reason, please
check the tables to see if you can correct the malfunction.

Risk of electric shock in case of improper repair!
Never try to repair a defective or suspected defective applian-
ce yourself. You can put your own and future users’ lives in
danger. Only authorised specialists are allowed to carry out
this repair work.

Appliance
is not
working.
The On/Off switch
has not been
pressed.
Press the On/Off switch
Mains plug is loose.
Check that the mains plug is
firmly inserted into the socket.
The socket is
defective.
Try the appliance with a different
socket.
Fuse has tripped.
Check fuse and/or circuit
breakers.
Supply cord is
defective.
Immediately pull the mains plug
out of the socket and notify
our Service department (see
„Service“ on page EN-28).
If the supply cord is damaged,
it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
