Do not store any laundry items that
have recently been treated with
chemical detergents such as white
spirit or stain remover in the appli-
ance. Such items should fi rst be left
to air and dry.

Do not store any combustible or eas-
ily fl ammable liquids near the appli-
ance.

Do not place any combustible or easi-
ly fl ammable objects near the appli-
ance.
■
Keep the area around the appliance
clean. Dust from coal or fl our can ig-
nite.

Improper handling of the appliance
can lead to burns.

The glass of the loading door can get
hot during operation. Do not touch
the glass when the appliance is run-
ning.
■
Do not touch the water outlet hose
during pumping. Do not touch the
rear wall during the drying process.
Risk of scalding!
Improper handling of the appliance
can lead to scalding caused by hot suds.
■
Fix the water outlet hose properly to
the sink or bath to prevent it from
slipping due to the recoil caused by
pumping. Adhere to the maximum
height of 80 cm!
■
If the water outlet hose is fi xed to
the edge of the drain or bath, do not
use the drain or bath whilst the wash-
er-dryer is in operation.
■
Do not touch the outlet hose during
pumping as the suds may be hot.
■
For drains make sure that the cross
section of the discharge pipe is great
enough that the drain cannot over-
fl ow.
■
Leave the suds to cool before drain-
ing them (e. g. during emergency
draining).
■
Never open the loading door with
force.

The appliance is very heavy. Nev-
er transport or carry the appliance
alone; always with the assistance of
another person.
■
Remove all obstacles on the transport
route and from the installation loca-
tion, e. g. open doors and clear away
objects lying on the fl oor.

Do not use the loading door as a step,
seat or for support. Make sure that
children and pets do not stand or sit
on the open loading door.
■
Take care to prevent any risk of trip-
ping when laying out the mains cord
and hoses.

If a trolley is used to move the ap-
pliance, the appliance must be lifted
as shown on the packaging. Always
transport the appliance vertically.
