Checking the water inlet filter
and replacing the gasket
NOTICE

Improper handling of the appliance
may result in damage.
■
Turn off the water intake tap after
each use, before cleaning the water
intake fi lter or replacing the seal. Oth-
erwise there is a risk of water dam-
age.
■
Close the valve before cleaning the
fi lter or replacing the gaskets.
■
Check and clean fi lters and gaskets
regularly.
■
Replace defect fi lters and gaskets im-
mediately. Never operate the appli-
ance without fi lters and gaskets.
There are filters in the appliance’s water inlet
which
prevents foreign particles from entering the
appliance.
• Check and clean the filter every 30 wash
cycles or if the appliance is not getting
enough water despite the tap being open
completely.
1. Switch off the appliance, take the mains
plug out of the socket, and turn off the
tap.
2. Unscrew the water inlet hose from the
valve.

3. Use tweezers or a pair of pliers to pull the
filter (28) with gasket (29) out of the union
nut (30). Rinse the filter under fresh water
and clean with a small, soft brush if nec-
essary.
4. If the filter or gasket is defective, replace
them with new ones.
5. Re-insert the filter and gasket, and screw
the water inlet hose back onto the valve.
6. Unscrew the water inlet hose from the
appliance.

7. Use tweezers or a pair of pliers to remove
the filter (28) from the connection (13) for
the water inlet hose. Rinse the filter under
fresh water and clean with a small, soft
brush if necessary.
8. Re-insert the filter and screw the water
inlet hose back onto the connection for
water inlet hose.
9. Open the valve to check whether the
hose and connections are sealed.
