Cleaning the lint trap
WARNING!

Improper handling of the appliance
can lead to scalding caused by hot suds.

Allow soapy water to cool before re-
moving the lint trap.

When draining in an emergency, sub-
stantial amounts of water can leak
out.
The lint trap stops threads
and other foreign bodies ending up in the
pump with the suds. Clean the lint trap every
30 wash cycles.
1. Switch off the appliance and take the
mains plug out of the socket.
2. Close the valve.

3. Carefully open the shutter (11) of the lint
trap with a flat object, such as with a flat-
tip screwdriver.

4. Place a suitable collecting container un-
derneath the lint trap (31).
5. Open the lint trap (31) anticlockwise only
to the point where water begins to flow
out. You will have to repeatedly empty the
collection container every now and then.
6. Completely unscrew the lint trap (31)
once the water stops flowing.
7. Remove all foreign bodies and clean the
lint trap (31) under running water.

8. Replace the lint trap (31) and screw it all
the way in.

9. Put the cover (11) back into position.
Make sure the rectangular opening in the
shutter is at the top.
