Items such as foam rubber (latex
foam), shower caps, waterproof tex-
tiles, rubber backed articles and
clothes or pillows fi tted with foam
rubber pads should not be dried in
the tumble dryer/washer-dryer.
■
Fabric softeners or other similar prod-
ucts should be used as described in
their respective use instructions.
■
When selecting a washing/drying cy-
cle or just a drying cycle, do not place
items including dosing balls or similar
in the drum.
■
All objects should be removed from
pockets (e.g. lighters and matches).
■
Never stop a tumble dryer/wash-
er-dryer before the end of the dry-
ing cycle unless all items are quickly
removed and spread out so that the
heat is dissipated.
■
Do not place the appliance on carpet-
ed fl ooring. Otherwise, it may not be
able to properly ventilate, which can
result in overheating and damage.
The ventilation openings must not be
obstructed by carpet fl ooring.
■
Do not install the appliance behind
a lockable door, a sliding door, or a
door with a hinge located opposite
the tumble dryer’s/washer-dryer’s
door hinge such that it prevents the
dryer’s door from fully opening.
Danger of explosion!
Improper handling of the appliance
can lead to fi re and explosion.
■
Due to the risk of fi re, never use the
drum dryer to dry fabrics or other ob-
jects if
–
industrial chemicals have been
used for cleaning (e.g. for chemical
cleaning).
–
the items contain a large amount
of foam rubber, rubber or rub-
ber-like components, such as foam
rubber (latex foam), shower caps,
waterproof textiles, rubber backed
articles and clothes or pillows fitted
with foam rubber pads,
–
they contain filling and are dam-
aged (e.g. pillows or jackets); the
filling may escape and cause a fire.

Do not store any laundry items that
have recently been treated with
chemical detergents such as white
spirit or stain remover in the appli-
ance. Such items should fi rst be left
to air and dry.
■
Do not store any combustible or eas-
ily fl ammable liquids near the appli-
ance.
■
Do not place any combustible or eas-
ily fl ammable objects near the appli-
ance.
■
Keep the area around the appliance
clean. Dust from coal or fl our can ig-
nite.
