Commissioning and operation
Choose a suitable
location
Position the kettle
– on a solid, level and non-sensi-
tive surface;
– not under a wall cabinet, as the
steam released may damage
wall cabinets;
– in such a way that there is
enough space above it to open
the lid;
– not on or near a hob or other
heat sources;
– so that it is out of the reach of
children.
Requirements for safe
use
– You have read the chapter
“Safety” from page EN-4.
First use
To remove all production residues,
boil a full load of water twice and
then pour away the hot water. Pro-
ceed as described in the following
chapters.

1. Remove the kettle from the
base and open the lid by
pressing the button (3).
2. Inside the water boiler there
are MIN (minimum amount of
water) and MAX (maximum
amount of water, 1.7 L) marks.
Fill the kettle with fresh, cold
tap water so that the water lev-
el is between these marks.
3. Push the lid closed until you
hear it click into place.
