First steps
Requirements
– You have read chapter “Safety” and under-
stand all the safety instructions.
– The appliance is prepared as described in
chapter “Start-up” on page GB-27.
1. Check whether the water inlet hose (a) and
water outlet hose (13) are sitting securely.
2. Open the valve completely.
3. Make sure that the drum is empty.
4. Load the laundry that has been sorted
through into the drum.
5. Push the loading door (7) closed tightly.
6. Dispense washing detergent and fab-
ric-care products.
7. Set the cycle selector (2) to the desired
cycle. The appliance switches on. Signals
light up on the display (3).

Adjusting the temperature
You can adjust the temperature for most
cycles.

1. Press the ‘Temp.’ (17) sensor button.
The temperature at which the cycle runs
as standard will appear on the display. You
now have 3 seconds to set the desired
temperature.
2. Press the ‘Temp.’ sensor button again, sev-
eral times if necessary.
The temperature setting reduces in steps
of 10 °C.

‘Off’ position and re-setting the cycle
