After switching it off , it
takes 15–20 seconds until
the kettle is once again ready for
use.
1. Connect the mains plug to a
properly installed and easily
accessible socket.
2. Fill the water tank (11) with
fresh, cold tap water. Pay
close attention to the fill level
indicator (7).
Fill to a minimum of 0.5 litres
and a maximum of 1.7 litres.
3. Place the water tank on the
base with contact pin.
The display will show a brew-
ing temperature of 100ºC and
a brewing time of 0:00.
4. Press the ‘Tea’ button (22) until
the brewing temperature set-
ting is displayed.
5. Press the and buttons (21)
to set the desired brewing tem-
perature.
The brewing temperature can
be set between 70ºC and
100ºC.
6. Press the button to start the
heating process.
The button will light up in
blue.
The display shows a water
temperature of 25ºC initially,
and then always the current
water temperature.
After the set brewing time
has been reached, 3 beeps
will sound, and after approx.
20 seconds, the notification in
the display will disappear and
the appliance will switch to
standby mode.
7. To stop the heating process,
press the button.
The notification in the display
will disappear after 25 seconds
and the appliance will switch to
standby mode.
Autostart function
This function will allow you to
switch the appliance automatical-
ly to the desired start time.
1. Prepare the appliance accord-
ingly:
– Fill to a minimum of 0.5 litres
and a maximum of 1.7 litres
to heat water p (see steps 1
to 5 in Chapter ‘Heating wa-
ter’ on page 19).
– Fill to a minimum of 0.5 litres
and a maximum of 1.0 litres
and add tea leaves to the
tea strainer to make tea (see
steps 1 to 11 in Chapter
‘Making tea’ on page 16).
