Before getting started
• Read chapter „For your safety“ on page
4 and all the safety notices.
• Install the exhaust hood as described in
chapter „Assembly“ on page 11.

Switching on the appliance
• To switch the appliance on, touch the sen-
sor (21).
– A beep will sound.
– The sensors (21), (20) and (17)
will light up.

– The exhaust hood’s cover (7) will open.
– The lighting (8) will go off.
– The appliance will start running at fan
level 1.
Changing the fan setting
The fan has three settings: (17) slow,
(18) medium and (19) fast.
The appliance always starts run-
ning at fan level 1.
• To set the desired fan level, press the cor-
responding sensor.
The sensor will light up. The fan level will
change.
Switching off appliance
• To switch the appliance off, touch the sen-
sor (21) again.
– The sensors (21), (20) and (17)
will go out.
– The fan will stop running.
– The lighting (8) will go off.
– The exhaust hood’s cover (7) will close.

Should one of the LEDs stop working,
it must be changed by an authorised
service technician.
Note for the service technician:
This
exhaust hood requires LEDs with the
ILCOS D code DBS-1-S, 12 V DC, 1 W.
Your exhaust hood is equipped with two LED
lights (8). They will turn on automatically
when you switch on the appliance. However,
you can switch them off as required.
• To switch the lighting on or off, press the
(20) button.
