1. Load the drawer (1) (see section “Loading”
on page EN-13).
Exception: Initial heating; here, the draw-
er (1) must be empty.
2. Selecting the operating mode:
Tap the sensor , or .
The LEDs above the display of the select-
ed operating mode and the temperature
sensor light up. The display (4) shows the
standard operating temperature.
3. Change the operating temperature:
Tap on the minus sensor or the plus sen-
sor as many times as required until the
display (4) shows the desired temperature.
4. Setting the operating duration:
• Tap the sensor.
The display (4) shows “

”.
• Tap on the minus sensor or the
plus sensor as often as required, until
the display (4) shows the desired dura-
tion. (Note that only whole hours can be
set)
5. Start operation:
Tap the sensor.
6. Close the drawer (1).
The warming function and fan start to work.
After the set operating time has elapsed,
the appliance switches off automatically.
• To end the process prematurely, tap the
sensor .
Tips
Keeping food warm
– Preheat the appliance for approx. 10 min.
– Depending on the food’s consistency, it
may be advisable to cover it.
– You should cover liquids and food con-
taining moisture to prevent a skin from
forming. These include soups and sauc-
es, goulash, vegetables and boiled pota-
toes. Use a plate or aluminium foil.
– Do not cover pizza, gratins, breaded
Schnitzel, pancakes, strudels or baked
rolls, to preserve their crunchy consist-
ency.
Dishes and tableware together
If you want to keep food warm and heat dishes
at the same time, select the operating mode
.
Special applications
Heat is used not only to keep food warm but
also to defrost, melt, etc. In such cases, tem-
peratures below 60 °C are recommended; this
is only possible with the operating mode
. The table below shows you the values that
have been verified by testing.
