Set waveform modulation
Click
Modulation
to enter the modulation menu.
Modulation
There are two types of modulation, amplitude modulation (AM) and frequency
modulation (FM).
AM: Modify the amplitude of the original carrier signal according to the amplitude of the
modulated signal.
FM: Modify the frequency of the original carrier signal according to the frequency of the
modulated signal.
Shape:
Select the waveform of modulated wave, including sine wave, square wave and triangle
wave.
Frequency:
Set the frequency of the modulated wave, ranging from 1Hz to 50KHz.
Depth:
Sets the amplitude modulation depth. The settable range is 0-120%.
Offset:
Set the modulation offset of frequency modulation, that is, the offset between the
modulated waveform frequency and the original carrier frequency. The range is
0.1Hz~1KHZ carrier frequency. (Carrier wave is the modulated wave, and the carrier
frequency is the frequency of the selected waveform output by the signal generator
except noise and DC.) The sum of the modulation offset and carrier frequency must be
less than or equal to the sum of the upper limit of carrier frequency and 1KHz.
Set frequency, depth and offset:
Click on the numeric area to call out the numeric keypad to set the value.
